Wine, beers & signature cocktails are also available. I strongly recommend you arrive early and order food and drinks before movie. I didn't realize before that we had to book our specific seats ahead of time. She said no. On arrival, my 11 year old daughter approached the ticket person, who looked past her at me, without any acknowledgement of her "hi," and said to me "She can't come in here." Showcase SuperLux offers luxury movie-going at its finest. Like flying first class versus coach. They give u an ipad with menu, you pick out what you want then push call button to bring over waiter. We waited about 45 minutes for our appetizer (about halfway through the movie), all the while moving our feet and my purse out of the way of the waiters who kept coming in and out of our aisle. so are you underneath your lululemon yoga pants....just like people who don't have enough money to own a car. So I was a bit skeptical going in, and my skepticism was confirmed by what we experienced. My "Pardon me?" Great atmosphere, plenty of parking, Food is decent, popcorn is fine, and with SuperLux ticket has unlimited refills. This place is ridiculously designed and conceived. Thankfully, no one got all Pee-Wee Herman in the theater....I think. OH YEAH!!!! But that also means that you'll constantly have waitstaff walking in front of you during the show, and asking your neighbors for orders, which is frankly distracting.I've only been here once, so maybe some of these things were flukes...but based on my experience I can't recommend this theater. Or that we were going to see MINIONS. We always go to the Dedham theater but this one is closer to us. This felt like a luxurious experience. The problem is that the front end of the place is staffed with inexplicably rude people who seem to have nothing but contempt for their customers. Overall, i would do it again. They don't have enough service people, the food comes late, they forget to bring utensils or napkins, it is just absolutely terrible service. The idea is amazing. Or go to a theater and pay 12 bucks for a ticket and get to choose their own food and not have to be tripped over by a staff person WHILE the movie is playing? Let's just say a $30 movie needs to be something SPECIAL! Soooooooooo need it! I will reserve my movie-going to 'regular' cinemas, enjoy a show without distractions and use all the money I save on having a nice dinner before the movie. Let's just say a $30 movie needs to be something SPECIAL! I had high hopes for this theater, especially on a Saturday night. It would be so much better if you could place order on ipad and pay by swiping your card, then they just bring it over. The fact that this same young girl is welcomed at Number 9 Park and Gramercy Tavern is arguably not on point. We encourage you to arrive a minimum of a half hour prior to showtime to place your food order. The show was hilarious, intriguing, and overall just entertaining. I like to pick out my own popcorn and candy. This entire plaza is reprehensible in its desire to be the Emperor's New Clothes. But the value is all wrong. In the end I just cannot justify spending this much money to endure the constant distractions, and to have a less-than-great experience. You'll never go out of business feeding people burgers and fries, so it's likely Shake Shack can stay in business. Put the pricetag aside and you have a really high end, relaxing, fun experience ahead of you. The service is just terrible. We decided to have a bite to eat elsewhere before the movie and just have drinks/snacks at the movie. Its before 9 pm, and were going to watch Despicable Me 2, don't tell me its a rated R movie. The service at the seats themselves has also been good on the several occasions we've gone, although the food itself is not exactly Best of Boston. Food is ok and seating is great! OK, it's nothing like a Liz Taylor movie...but I digress. We paid for the cheap seats...ie $20 which includes a $5 surcharge for food and drink. Got the calamari...which had mostly fried peppers in it. It was 830 and the guy scanning the tickets said the seats weren't ready yet for the 9 pm movie but within 1 min from walking away another guy called for us and said it was ready. Davio’s Cucina, the venue’s full-service 250-seat restaurant, presents the award-winning cuisine of Boston’s beloved Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse, in an elegant yet relaxed environment. Sadly, past four or … I was horrified at our experience here. And accusing your customer of lying to you while he's trying to spend $120 on four tickets and another paycheck on food is a wise PR move? You can do Lux or Lux lite. Everyone looks totally dazed and confused. They don't have enough service people, the food comes late, they forget to bring utensils or napkins, it is just absolutely terrible service. This is not your everyday theatre. The recliners were awesome. Copyright © 2004–2020 Yelp Inc. Yelp, , and related marks are registered trademarks of Yelp. We ordered thai chicken bites which were way too salty. Neither, perhaps, is the fact that the Showcase app makes no mention of this fact during the purchase (see the screenshot - it may be on there somewhere, but I can't find it when I go back, so it's well hidden). (We're on a first name basis)  This 3 hour epic starring a beautiful blonde is like a Liz Taylor movie if she were willing to bare all and dye her hair. My gf and I were actually laughing at the thought of having a full sit-down meal at a movie theater and eating in the dark.
