The nicest family run the b&b and I can't fault their efforts in the slightest, from great conversation to the fantastic breakfasts where any option of food is possible and effortless!! The hot tub was an added bonus which we relaxed in. The breakfasts cooked by Frank were outstanding and set you up for the day. I think the hour I spent in the hot tub, overlooking the sea was the most relaxed I’ve ever felt. There are many great walks and mountain bike trails in the area, including Cwmcarn Forrest Drive, Fourteen Locks, Twmbarlwm, The Wetlands Reserve (great for bird watching) and the Coastal Path  which you can of course join just outside. This room has lovely views over the fields in front of the lighthouse. If you are a fan of golf, we have the world renowned Celtic Manor Resort 20 minutes away which hosted the 2010 Ryder Cup, or the more local Peterstone Lakes Golf Course where there is also fishing, which is 10 minutes away. It’s a fantastic spot - without a shadow of a doubt and our host friendly and welcoming - again like a good few Reviews on here this was a wedding anniversary / birthday trip - so was after something special - Yes the road was bumpy- no problems there, one reviewer suggests it’s only suitable for a four by four..... this is a bit of an over exaggeration They have recently had some severe storms which has battered the out side a bit but I think what this place could do with, as other reviewers say is a bit of TLC.
