If you have 90 minutes to kill and don't mind a bit of jingoism, you could do worse. It’s clear and focused and you can differentiate the characters which is often an issue in military films, especially in big action scenes.

"Tyrannorabbit" Wright ★★. With this "name only" sequel to Jarhead, Mr Kaufman brings the realism when it comes to the gunfights. TMDb 61. He's one of, if not the best, dollar for dollar directors working today.
His Texan accent here wasn't nearly as solid as his Russian in the Undisputed, but it was decent enough. This review may contain spoilers. You need to be logged in to continue. I'm calling it a 2 1/2 star movie and calling it a day. The main flaw of Jarhead is casting Scott Adkins in a supporting role, rather than the lead.

I can handle the truth. Scott Adkins. This is one of those cheap DTV "by-name-only" sequels that have nothing to do with original theatrical movies, except that both movies are war movies and deal with soldiers.
